Hai,

Iam sorry to say this you are not eligible for Indian Naval academy, you have to complete 12th standard. Because the educational qualification is 12th standard.

To join in indian navy after 12th standard you need to apply NDA(National Defence Academy) exam, which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.


Eligibility criteria:-

Applicant should be complete 12th standard or any equivalent qualification from a recognised state board or university.

Percentage is not required for NDA.

Candidate must be physically fit.

Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Minimum Age limit--> 16.5 years,

Maximum age limit--> 19years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.


Selection stages:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.


Syllabus:-

Mathematics--> 300 marks,

General ability--> 600 marks

First you can crack the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defense Service.

sorry to say but you have to wait for 2 years because the elligibility criteria is 12th class for navy. For this you have to fill the form of nda taken by upsc twice in a year. The paper cleared student have to give the interview and medical. The age must be 18 to 27 year. Special relaxation in age for reserved category student. The status of the candidate must be unmarried. Nationality must be indian . Have no record in police.

10th pass qualification is not enough qualification to get you a job in Indian Naval Force.

You have to pass at least 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Maths to become eligible for Indian Navy.

After completing 10+2 with PCM stream you will be eligible for NDA & NA examination which is conducted by UPSC.

For Naval Academy Physics and Maths is compulsory. Hence PCM stream should be opted in 10+2.

Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years and you must be an unmarried male for NDA & NA examination.

-Medical Examination

So get yourself prepared for above examination if you want to join Indian Navy as an Officer.

There are other options also in Indian Navy which are non officer posts. If you are interested you can apply for those also after 10+2 PCM.

Artificier Apprentice and Senior Secondary Sailors are the non officer posts in Indian Navy after 10+2 .
