Re: How to join Indian Army after passing 12th? I am 21 years old
Dear Friend
Indian Army is one of the important wings of the defence. If you desire to serve for the country ,Indian army is the best. There are few ways through which you can enter in Indian army . 1.National defence academy. 10+2 is the minimum qualification required for it but due to the fact that your age is 21 years ,you are not eligible for the NDA as the age limitation is from 16.5 to 19 years. 2.Technical Entry Scheme: In this scheme,if you have scored more than 75 % marks in 10+2 then your are allowed to directly give the Service selection board. The age limitation is upto 21 years. So,you may try yourself for this scheme at http://http://joinindianarmy.nic.in/ 3.Combined defence services. It is conducted by UPSC but the minimum educational requirement is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. So after pursuing your graduation, you can give this exam. The age limitations are : IMA:19-24 years INA:19-22 years OTA: 19-25 years. 4.University Entry scheme : It is just like the TES(Technical entry scheme)but the minimum requirement is that you must have completed your bachelor's degree with minimum of 60% marks all clear that is there should be no pending backlogs.Hope the information satisfies you. all the best aashisranjan784 |

Re: How to join Indian Army after passing 12th? I am 21 years old
Dear friend,
As per your present educational qualifications and age , you cannot join Indian Army through any way cause if we talk about NDA Exam , then your age is over 19 years as well as if we talk about Combined Defence Services Examination , then you don`t have Bachelor`s Degree from any recognized college/university and it will take another 3 years to complete your graduation and then your age will be over 24 years. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
