I want to join indian navy after 12th in commerce without maths

Hai,

Iam sorry to say this because a commerce student is not eligible for Indian Navy. Only the candidate who are completed their 12th standard with PCM subjects are eligible for indian navy and airforce. For this you can apply for NDA exam.


Eligibility criteria:-


If the candidate wants to apply indian army then the candidate should be complete 12th standard in any stream.

OR

The candidate who are completed their 12th standard with PCM subjects are eligible for Indian Navy and Indian Airforce.

Remember one thing the educational qualification must be complete from a recognised board of india.

Specific percentage restrictions are not needed to apply this exam.

You must be a citizen of India.

Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible.

No girls are not eligible.

The candidate age should not be lessthan 16.5 years and should not be more than 19 years.

After passing class 12th, you can join Indian Navy by giving the NDA exams.
NDA exams are held to fill posts in:
ARMY
NAVY
NAVAL ACADEMY
AIRFORCE

Eligibilty to apply for the NDA exams:
12th pass for the Army wing
12th pass with Physics and Maths as subjects for the Airforce ,Naval Academy and Navy wing

Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years

Since you have not studied Physics and Maths at class 12th level, you can apply only for the Indian army under NDA exams.

You cannot apply for the indian Navy

I am sorry you are not eligible for the Indian Navy without Maths. Because you need the PCM subjects.

You need to apply for the Navy exams you can apply the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility:

You should complete the 12th standard from any recognized state board of India.

You need the PCM subjects.

Your age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates are not eligible for this exam.

Female candidates are not eligible for this exam.

The candidate should be physically & Medically fit for this exam.

For Indian navy you have to pass 12th Physics and Maths stream.

If you want to join Defence services then you can join Indian Army.

For joining Indian Army you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
In month of and April and August.
Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

The way of you joining in Indian Navy which is one of the Defence Force of India,the procedure is by writing the entrance exam for it.There are various entrance exam which are conducted in India and you can apply for them according upon the qualification which you possess.

The Entrance exam which you can apply for the exam as per the qualification of yours is the NDA Exam

The NDA exam is one of the Defence service exam and this exam is conducted by UPSC and is held every year for candidate to join in defnece forces of India.

The candidate is selected based on 3 stages:

1. Written Test
2. SSB Interview
3. Medical Test

But before applying for the exam you need to check yourself whether you are eligible for the exam or not,which can be done by referring the below mentioned criteria and check whether you satisfy them:

• Nationality
• Martial Status
• Age Limit
• Education Qualification
• Physical Standard

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must be a Citizen of India

>> The Martial Status for the exam is that the candidate must be a Unmarried male candidate

>> The age limit needed for the NDA exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

>> The education qualification needed by a candidate for joining in Indian Navy is that the candidate must have completed +2 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must be Physically fit

First of all I would have to tell you that YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE INDIAN NAVY OR INDIAN AIR FORCE. You have to bear this fact and believe that there are certain Eligibility Conditions for EVERY JOB around and you or anybody else have to abide by it and satisfy it, only they would be you able to take it up as a career.

As you must be knowing that NDA is the Entrance i.e National Defense Academy which is organized and conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year twice in the Months April and August following the 12th board exams. There are many applicants who wish to clear this exam and join Defense.

Also there are 3 wings of Defense namely : Army, Navy and Air Force. So they have different criteria's for each of them in academic subjects, physical requirements, age and other such. So only those who fit in every criteria are finally selected.

The problem in your case is that YOU ARE A COMMERCE STUDENT. Though Commerce students are open to apply for the NDA exam, but they can only fill up Army as their choice and not Navy or Air Force. This is because Science subjects like Physics and Chemistry are unknown to them and which are required at every step in the Air Force and Naval studies and course further. So you are only open to apply for the Indian Army through the NDA Examination.

Other criteria's are age should be within 16.5 to 19 years. Also 12th pass unmarried male candidates can apply ONLY and no relaxation in this criteria. However the age criteria gets some relaxations for the minority classes. You have to Click here to know more about the Exam.

For your information, the application date for the NDA 1 Exam is already over so if you have not applied, you cannot apply for it anymore. The exam is on 14th April 2013. But dont worry, the NDA 2 application dates would be announced soon. So you can apply for it which would be held in August.
