U can join through armed forces army, airfore, navy n all the other special forces in it. 2) Through civil services like IPS, IFS n so on.being an IPS officer u can join in CBI, RAW n can remain in state police services.Its ur choice. 3)If u r a civilian u need a high level recommendation, even through u get in u probably find desk jobs. Its better to enter R&AW through IPS...so check out UPSC related website for the exams n requirements.U must put a great hard work to pass these exams n interview.

In this list of examinations except as a police there are specific graduation courses required for some posts under SSC like CBI CID RAW and all requires a graduation degree in Criminology

To join the police department is easy you need to satisfy any of them by just completing your degree you are eligible for all type of examination in police department

but each and every post selection will have different procedure for example if you want to become SI you have to write the SI entrance exam

or if you want to become IPS then you need to write Civils entrance conducted by UPSC

in this way each and every post has its own unique procedure
in the same way the other jobs follows but what you have mentioned in the last few posts are the internal wings of police department to get into them you have to just join the services and work honestly by gaining sincierety

in these special posts every post is very crucial and challenging so all you need to do is work hard for any post
