My name is Devashish. I am purusing MCA. I want to be a raw agent. But i don't know what are the requirements for it. Please give me some knowledge about it. I shall be very thankful to you for this act of kindness.

RAW stands for Research Analytical Wing.

** UPSC conducts examination for those who wants to join RAW (Research Analytical Wing).

** The main objective of this wing is to monitoring the political, military, economic and scientific developments in India.

BASIC REQUIREMENT FOR RAW AGENT

** You should have graduation / post graduation from Recognized University.

** The candidate must be Citizen of India.

** The candidate must have a minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.

** Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories.

** The candidate must have knowledge in Computer Operations or Computer Language.

You cannot volunteer to be an agent in R&AW. There is no direct recruitment for RAW. If you want to become an officer in RAW you have to clear the UPSC examination and become IPS or IFS cadres. Only after that you have a chance to become an officer in RAW. Those are in various government departments will be deputed in RAW. So there is no direct examination or appointment through notifications.

RAW comes under Intelligence Bureau

For Apply this exam you have following Qualifications:

1.You must completed degree with 60%
2.You must have 165 Cm height
3.Your age must be in between 21 to 30 years

Selection process:

1.Written exam
2.Technical round
3.Physical and Medical tests
4.Personal Interview
