How to know our all india rank while preparing for an engineering entrance exam?

If you are preparing for engineering entrance examinations then you need to fill the forms in order to sit and write the examination. Once you write the exam and you need to only wait for results. Results are declared by organising committee and it is informed by their result link or result may be posted to home address.

For UG: Like AIEEE or IITJEE,type of exams, result is automatically posted to home-address. This result card contains the marks in each subject of exam and ALL india rank as well state rank. State rank is there to know the chances of candidate to get admission in local NIT college because he may claim 85% of seats in native NIT.

For PG: Like GATE type of exams, result is posted to those candidates who cleared the exam. Although such type of regulation of posting may vary year to year and depending upon administration. It also mentions the all india rank so you need not to contact to examination committee for your rank status as they automatically notifies you either by post of by internet results.

best way is to join all-india test series of some reputed institution like for iit institutes fiitjee , resonance and a lot more .

after finishing the competitive exams,you have to wait for results,in which they would provide the ranking according to your marks....

prepare the exam according to the college you are trying for...

first know the cut-off range for the particular exam...

while preparing for AIEEE go for the online trial exams and you could propably know your percentile.
and for your exact rank give your exam and it will be specified in your rank card.
But the best way would be to try out online exam and figure out where you stand

your question is not clear. if you want to know your AIEEE rank then first you have to appear in AIEEE examination. then after evaluation result will be published on internet after few days of the examination.

but without appearing in the AIEEE examination while you are preparing for engineering entrance examination you will not be able to know the rank. you may guess according to your performance that how much you may rank in the examination but you can't be sure. it's really difficult to also to predict exactly very close to the exact AIEEE rank.
