nda exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year.

nda exam consists three wings;-

--*army

*-*-navy

*air force

eligibility-;

*--12th standard from a recognized board

-age limit is 16.5-19 years.

i am a girl can i apply for air force done pcm 2

I appreciate your interest to make entry into defence services in the very beginning of your career.

As you have completed 12th class with PCM, you can join defence services by cracking NDA Exam.

This NDA Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) which is the common written exam to make entry into various defence services like
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

The complete selection procedure that you should go through to get defence job will be

Interview
Medical Test

In order to join Army wing, candidates who have completed 12th class with any stream are eligible.

But to join navy and air force wings, the candidates should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.'

The required age criteria for the candidates will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

You should be an unmarried male candidate in order to be eligible for this exam.

Female candidates are not at all allowed to appear for this exam.

As per your academic qualification, you are eligible. But check yourself whether you are having the required age or not.

Once you are eligible, apply for this NDA Exam.

NDA : National Defence Academy Examination


Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy / Air force ::
1.You have Finished Intermediate(12th) with Physics and Mathematics as subjects of a recognized Institute .

2.Age standards should be between 16.5 years and 19 years .

3.Final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for this examination .

4.You should be Unmarried male candidate .

Sorry Girls can't join Indian Air Force on the basis of 12th class. In fact there is no entry scheme for 12th pass Girls in Indian Air Force. So you must study till Graduation to become eligible for Indian Air Force.

On the basis of 12th only males are eligible for Indian Defense and there is no provision for girls to join at this level.

Girls after completion of Graduation can apply for CDS exam for joining Indian Air Force.

Also there is AFCAT conducted for Graduates for flying branch, technical branch and ground duty branch of Indian Air Force.

Age Limit for CDS:

Indian Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years

Indian Naval Academy - 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years

Officers' Training Academy - 19 to 25 years

TES-Technical Entry Scheme.
Entry technical entry,
qualification-10+2 passed must have physics,maths,chemistry with 70% for army
10+2 passed with physics,chemistry,mathematics with 75% for navy
TES entry is in two wings..

Age limit is 16.5 to 19.5 years
when the course is due to commence,not at time of applying.

TES is a short service commission entry.
A service of term of 14 years.
In air force,no TES scheme only in navy,army.

NDA-National Defence Academy
Qualification-10+2 passed or diploma candidates
Age is 16.5 to 19 years,at the time of commencement of course.
NDA-for all three wings
army,air force,navy.

Graduation at NDA for 3 years and then 1 year IMA-army
Graduation at NDA,1 year NA-navy
Graduation at NDA,1&1/2 year AFA-Air Force.
