myself prateek sharma and my age is 22yr running and i have completed 12th in pcm....i m join the army so plz tell me wats the procedure to i m joined

you can join army By filling up the application form for NDA.
after 12th pass, you can get a post of soldier and if you
get a post of officer rank then you will have to be a graduate
and then you can give the Central Defence Services exam which
is conducted by UPSC 2 times in a year..........

you have made a very good decision of joining Indian army.....

as you said your age is 22.....considering your age there are various exams you can apply for joining Indian army :-

1. if you have only completed 12th with pcm and have not applied for any other course ,then you might not be able to apply for the exams as you have crossed the age limit.....

2.if you have completed 12 th with pcm and have done graduation after that then you can apply form CDS exam....

3.you can also try for UES scheme in your college .....

the advertisement for all the exams to enter army are released round the year and so you will have to red the employment news for details .....

generally an exam is conducted first , then if you clear it you will be called for interview and physicals together called as SSB.....

dear i am sorry but you have crossed the age limit for one of the mode to get into indian army that is NDA............but dont worry there are many other ways to get into it........

if you have completed 12 th with pcm and have done graduation and scored more than 60% in aggregate then you can apply form CDS exam....

all the important dated for the exams related to defense are published in the employment newspapers so keep a check on it or you can also log on to the official site of upsc - www.upsc.gov.in/exams/exams.htm

you can join indian army by :-

Students with above 70% in PCM in 12th standard are eligible for Technical Entry Scheme.

There is no written test for the selection, as it is based on SSB interview.

i am sorry but you have crossed the age limit for the nda. if you have completed 12 th with pcm and have done graduation and scored more than 60% in aggregate then you can apply form CDS exam applying for technical entry if you have score 70% in PCM

Dear friend,

You can join the IAF after 12th with PCM subjects..

For this you have to give the entrance test conducted by the NDA ..

You can go for the technical branch in IAF after 12th if you have 60% marks..

After getting selected in the theory test you have to pass some medical fitness tests in the designated training centers..

It will be better for you if you join IAF after doing graduation course..Then you can join in a higher post..

you are not eligiable to attain NDA exam. as you have not age limit criteria.

so it will be better for you to do graduation first, then you must attain UPSC exam.

through UPSC exam, you can join in army.

NDA but do giving this exam your age must be within 19 years .After completing your 12th if you go for engineering then in 3rd year of your degree you will be eligible to give exam UES
This exam are conducted by UPSC.

Sorry , you can not get into army at this age because they take all eligible candidates which have age groups in the range of 16-1/2 and 19-1/2 years. for technical entry TES in army. They are required to send their applications in a coloured envelope according to your percentage.

You are not eligible to get in army since you have now got overage.

there is different entry scheme for the indian army.

NDA- you can join indian army through the nda exams for which the minimum qualification is 12th with mathematics.

cds- the minimum qualification is graduation.

appart from this indian army conducts its own exams.

Sorry friend u have crossed the prescribed age limit for NDA exam which is conducted by upsc and students after completing 12 standard are eligible for it. Now u cannot enter just with 12 pass u have to complete ur graduation to be eligible for other modes of entry in Army as well as other armed forces.

As you have passed your 12th long back so your not eligible for the NDA exam.
How ever you can get into army by attending CDS exam after completing your graduation course.

You need to have a minimum of Under graduation for getting into Army as officer.
If your higher educational qualification is only 10+2 then you can go through the recruitment procedure of army jawan conducted in many of the cities.
You can get the information the daily newspaper The Hindu or the weekly journal Employment news.

You can join the Indian army by filling the examination form of NDA. this exam is conducted by the UPSC publised in the employment news. the age for this examination is between 16-1/2 to 19-1/2. thanking you.

If you are interested in Indian Army after passing 12th standard with PCM,
Then you will have to appear for NDA examination.
For NDA examination you must have the following criteria :

1.Educational details :You should have pass 12th standard.
2.Age limitation :you should have your age within 16.5 to 19 years.
3.Nationality :Indian.

i am really very sorry but it wont be possible now for you to joint the Indian Army as you are only a 12th pass-out but you have crossed the age limit for appearing in the NDA exam

even if you start your graduation now,then it will take you a minimum of 3 years and by then you would have crossed the age limit for appearing in the CDS exam

You have decided to join Indian Army after passing 12th.
You can join Indian Army after passing 12th as a solider.

For this You have to contact the Army recruitment board(A.R.B)

A.R.B is located in each district.

Eligibility for Indian Army:-
> Pass the 12th with any stream.
> AGE LIMIT:- 18-24 year.
> Medically fit
> Must be citizen of India.

As your educational qualification you are eligible to apply Army officer and as your age i.e 22years you are not eligible for the Army officer.

But no problem you have an another option to join in army i.e CDS exam.

CDS eligibility criteria:

Any graduation from a recognised university.

Age limit is 18 to 24 years.

Male and female candidates are also eligible.

You must be physically fit.

i m aditya sharma, i have just completed my 10 2 in 2012 with 70.66% in pcm , 81 in english and 76.4 % overall. and i have also submitted the form for 10 2 tes.so, can i will be shortlisted for that.and can i fill up this form as far as my age limit. and i have submitted this form on 5 june 2012 whose last date was 10 june. and if i m shortlisted then how can i get this information
