SBI i.e. State Bank of India is Public sector Banking and a financial services company. It’s one of the Indian Multinational company. SBI is one of the big four banks of India among Bank of Baroda, ICICI bank and Punjab National Bank. There are 17k+ branches out of which 190 are in foreign.

SBI hires candidates in four sectors.

1. As Probationary Officers: The type of work the candidates will be doing is retail banking, personal banking, credit, forex, rural banking and more.
2. As Specialist Cadre Officers: Candidates will be hired for Chartered Accountants, Analysts, Risk Raters, Rajbhasha Officers and more.
3. As Special Management Executives: Candidates will be hired for Middle management grades.
4. As Assistants: Candidates will be hired for Clerical posts.

Talking about the number banks associated with SBI now, they are:

Previously, there are more than Five banks are associated with SBI, but all they have merged. Now, these five banks are associated with State bank of India are:

As per the latest notification there are following associate banks of SBI are still in existence and working well all over India and I have listed all those banks below please read :

So there are five associate banks are present in India of State Bank of India.

For your kind notice, except SBI, these associate banks also recruits huge number of employees for various clerks and PO posts every single year and you can secure your future with any one of these banks by qualifying written examination and interview process.

SBI Associate banks has conducted written examination for clerks post in January-February of this year and recruitment process of PO post has been done in February Month and result will be published soon so the next recruitment of these banks will be held Between December and February 2016 so you should be ready and keep in touch with these notices and jobs to apply and get the job.
