Below mentioned following companies are under PSU in which Computer Science Engineering student can apply.

2. PGCIL (Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.)
3. FCI (Food Corporation of India Ltd.)
4. NALCO (National Aluminimum Company)
5. NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation)
6. IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.)
7. HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.)
8. ONGC (Oil & Natural Gas Corporation)
9. SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd.)
10. BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.)

Eligibility for all PSUs are as follows: -

1. Pass B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engg. or Mechanical Engg. or Computer Science Engg. or Chemical Engg. or Electrical Engg. with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks from a recognized Institute / University.

2. Nationality - Indian

3. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

NOTE: - A candidates appearing in the final year can also apply.

sir,I am a b.tech 3rd year student till now i have 61 % in first and second year combined....is the eligibility criteria for psu's is 65 throughout or i still have scope to stretch it along my way till final year kindly reply... [email protected]

Hi,

Here PSU are good companies with an average pay package of 7-13 lacs per annum, depending on various companies, yet they take those who have high GATE score, let me tell you some of the list of PSUs which are eligible for CS branch.

First of all the basic requirement being degree in B.E. /B.Tech. /B.Sc.(Engg.).

You should also try to maintain minimum aggregate 60% marks in all subjects taken altogether.

what will be the selection.process after applying for psu company i am a cse final year student

sir,, I am in final year in IT branch... IT and CSE are almost similar branches... but, when i checked the ntpc website it was written that only electrical, electronics, civil and mechanical people can apply! Infact this is the scenario in almost all the psu's like bhel, power grid, HPCL etc.... Sir, plz confirm whether i can apply or not being a IT student .. plz reply at : [email protected]
