How many seats available under CLAT exam?
sir, kindly you can tell me how many seats are there in CLAT? Please tell me the number

Dear Friend
Presently there are following colleges under CLAT. The name of colleges along with number of seats are described below. NLSIU Banglore There are total 80 seats among which 55 seats are for GEN category. NALSAR Hyderabad There are total 70 seats in which 56(GEN-41) seats are under all India category and 14 seats(GEN-11) are under AP residents category. NLIU Bhopal Here total number of seats is 90. For male candidates there 31 seats for all India and 31 for M.P. state quota. For female candidates there are 28 seats reserved apart from above 62 seats. 14 seats for all India and 14 for M.P. state quota. NLU Jodhpur A total of 100 seats is available in NLU Jodhpur WBNUJS Kolkata Here the total number of seats is 125 in which only 78 are for GEN candidates. HNLU Raipur Under all India quota 70 seats are available in which 56 seats are for open category and 14 seats are reserved for female candidates. Under Chattisgarh State quota a total of 70 seats are available which is divided in the same way as in case of all India quota. GNLU Gandhinagar IN GNLU only 76 seats are for GEN category seats and the remaining 84 seats are reserved through various reservation policies. RMLNLU Lucknow Here 80 unreserved seats and 80 reserved seats are available. RGNLU Punjab Here total 80 seats are available in which 57.5% seats are for GEN category. CNLU Patna Here total 60 seats are available through CLAt for undergraduate program. NUALS Kochi Here total no. of seats is 80 but only 41 seats are for GEN category. I COLLECT SOME INFORMATION IN NET GIVE BELOW:-- CLAT 2011 for Under graduate Programs The Under-Graduate Programme Offered by the National Law Universities [5 year integrated BA / B.Sc* / B Psc** / BBA^ / BCom^ LL.B (Hons) Degree Course] CLAT 2011 Eligibility : To be eligible to appear for CLAT-2011, a candidate should have passed his / her Higher Secondary School / Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC / ST / OBC and persons with Disability). ~ Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test. ° Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC / ST and persons with Disability) ~ as on 1st July, 2011. * Offered by NUJS, NLU Jodhpur and GNLU. ** Bachelor in Political Science, offered by NLU Jodhpur. ^ Offered by GNLU, a new course, BSL (Bachelor of Social Welfare and Policy is under consideration to be introduced). ° The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his / her admission and be able to submit its proof. ~ Subject to State reservation at the University concerned. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC / ST / OBC and persons with Disability)*.
