How much height do I requird to become a police officer...please tell me

Eligibility required to become police officer:-

1.candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. candidate must have graduate degree from a recognized university.
3. candidates must be physically fit as it is a very important factor.
4. candidates must have age limit of 21-30 years.


Physical Eligibility :- Minimum height of 165 cm for Men and 150 cm for
Women .minimum height is relaxable to 160 and 145 cm for SC/ST.

## The height required to apply for Police Officer post is 165 cm height for men and 150 cm height for women & 5 cm height relaxation for SC/ST candidates
## Other physical standards required are
~>85 cm chest on expansion for men & there is no such requirement for women
~>Eyesight must be 6/6 or 6/9 in one eye, 6/12 in other eye for distant vision & 0.6 in one eye, 0.8 in other eye for near vision
## And the minimum educational qualification required to apply for Police Officer post is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university
## Age limit to apply for POLICE OFFICER(SI) post is
~>21-25 years for General category candidates
~>21-28 years for OBC candidates
~>21-30 years for SC/ST category candidates
