i m from ECE branch(GEN ) My gate score is 34 what is expected Rank?

34 is not a poor mark.in this rank u cann't get any sit in iit as ur expected rank will be almost 6000-10000.
u can see the previous year selection procedure but it's very difficult u to get chance in good nits also.better u will try for the goob private university like
BITS
VITS etc.

If you are getting 34 marks in gate ECE paper 2011, then your rank will be approximately between 4000-5000. With this rank good nits like warangal, trichi and calicut are very tough to get but you can get another nits easily.

you have definately made the cutoff but its a bit hard to predict exactly which college you can expect as of now

but atleast you can expect the lesser NIT's

You have scored good marks in GATE from ECE branch now the issue is these number is enough go get seat in NIT.
As this year the level of paper is not too high it is something in middle so cut off is high and thats why your chances of getting Nits is not too good.
But you can try in some NITs which are not top ranked but still good for future job. You can also try in some other college which are not NIts but are good to give you future aspects of getting placement in good company.

I belong to SC catogery and i got 24 marks in gate 2011 ece stream. can i get seat in NITS or IITS

i am extremely sorry no NIT s is possible with this marks but surely you get top colleges of vtu.

so it is dificult to get chance in NITs.

but you can get chance in some govt colleges.
