Hello friends,I AM getting GATE score of 53 IN GATE 2011 in mechanical branch......what rank can i expect????and can i be in to an IIT?????????

This very good preformance in GATE 2011.
As you are from Mechanical Engineering Branch then you have done very good job. Securing 53 marks in gate from mechnical stream assures that you will get any IIT with good branch.
Your ranking may fall between 150-250. As the number of candidate from mechnical stream is less so you will secure very high score in GATE.

the marx u mentioned can fetch u a rank around 200-300 in mech wid dat u can get into some / other iits bt maynt b of ur desired choice...ATB

you can expect very good rank with 53 marks in GATE Mechanical.

you will get rank with in 1000.

and you will definitely get one of the IITs.

what do you suggest?? Should i write Gate once again next year or this rank is good enough to get into good iits??

No my friend, Your score is Good in GATE Exam in Mechanical.But I think this is not good for get the IIT with this Score.So Prepare yourself and and make minimum 120-150 marks for getting IIT or come under the 100 rank in AIR.Then you will get the IIT.
Tips for getting good score:-
1. Do hard work,
2. Study more and more.
3. Dont waste your time. an
4.Prepare yourself, Give maximum for tough subject and make good each subject.
5. Give Maximum time for Study.

u brainless idiots, why do you want to give wrong info to people no way u can get 150-250 rank for 53, my rank is 2060 for 52 in mechanical. pls don't blabur some shit.

if i have got 26 marks in gate 1st attempt and 40 in the 2nd so the marks being avereged and then calculated for selection is it true
