This is basically conducted to test your aptitude level and awareness in the banking sector. Since you have appeared for the bank test you will be well aware of the structure and pattern of the exam. You will need to prepare in all the areas well. Probably make a timetable so as to ensure that you have covered all the areas. Also solving papers will also help.

Re: How to prepare for bank sector exams?
In recent days, the competition for the bank jobs is high as the banks are providing good salaries, security and safety facilities and other facilities.
So, one need to prepare in better manner with proper planning to crack the bank exams. Almost all the bank exams either clerical or PO, the selection procedure will be by 1)written test 2)Personal Interview. The written test will consists of questions from the following categories -Reasoning -Quantitative aptitude -General awareness -General English -Computer / Marketing knowledge One need to qualify in each of the sections to get through the written test. There will be negative marking for the wrong answers. As far as the preparation is concerned, concentrate more on Genera awareness. Because this is the difficult section for most of the students. For this prepare the last 6 months -International affairs -National affairs -Bilateral affairs -Sports -Awards -Persons in news. For English to score well, you should be good at basic grammar points like usage of tenses, articles,if -clauses, synonyms and comprehensions. Practice as many exercises as possible with reference to tenses . For reasoning and quantitative aptitude R.S.Agarwaal is the good book to prepare. Keep it in mind that you should be good at problem figures. Because for almost all the bank exams there are 10 questions from problem figures. Practice makes you to take less time for these questions |
