Re: How to prepare for the GATE and other public sector exams? so I could clear in 1s
You should have a good command of your subject. Focus on each and every word and sentance. And, the most important thing is prctice. Practice qustions as much as you can. Apart from syllabus, try to gather knowledge from other sources also. refr differnt question banks or sample papers for practice. doing this much any one can clesr GATE in first attempt.

Re: How to prepare for the GATE and other public sector exams? so I could clear in 1st at
for gate we can not say which material is best suited because the pattern and syllabus of GATE is different from the academics syllabus … so you must have to concentrate on basics of your branch and mathematics and from this year onwards 15 marks are allocated for aptitude, where you can score marks easily…........ so start the preparation today itself…....
always focus on the concepts only .. do not digress into volumes of theory without understanding the crux of whats essential..There is no need to cram up facts or numbers...Follow good text books .. Since there are just 3 more months for the exam , you need to stay more focused now.. Allocate dedicated hours (6-7 hrs) everyday to cover the syllabus.. After reaching a comfortable level of preparation, pitch in on mock exams.. Practice previous year GATE papers.. Strong Knowledge of Concepts + Accuracy + Speed is the formula to crack GATE. hi,
for GATE you should : have a good command over the subjects you have studied in graduation. like you should cover your main subjects like : power system, analog electronics digital electronics networking control system etc and for public sector exams you have to see the syllabus from the questions have appeared in previous years entrance tests. generally they also ask questions from the main subjects that i have mentioned above. best of luck |

dear friend,
really it is the deciding factor that how a person can prepare for the gate, according to me one can prepare well, by 1. clear all the basic of the subjects, 2. go to the depth study of the each and every topics included in the syllabus, 3. take a regular practice on the each chapter wise, 4. always keep the previous year question paper with you,and try to understand the pattern, and finally take a regular test on the whole syllabus. and then you will see your level. o k good luck |

Hello Ayush!!
Nothing extra you need to do ,just follow up the Syllabus of your stream ,and try to build up the concepts on the topics... Other then this one extra thing that you need to do is that solve the Mock papers of those company which you want to sit for.. Now come to the GATE preparation, the same thing here i will say that go through the syllabus or go through the study materials of the tutorial such as Brilliant Tutorial, this institute has the very good contents in there study material.. So for this ,All the best.. |

Re: How to prepare for the GATE and other public sector exams? so I could clear in 1st at
for preparation for any examination best way of success is you have to clear the basic knowledge of each topic. always remember always they ask very basic simple question. but main problem is the student have not the basic knowledge. now the student go into the details but the don't know the definition or they have not the concept. study the text book and get a clear concept. after that do good practice. buy book from market practice it for specified examination. try to solve model question at a time and following all the rules of that examination. surely you will clear all the examination in first attempt. best of luck.

You must strong your core subjects like electronics, electromagnetic theory, digital electronics , communication engineering, control system, digital signal processing, network analysis and microwave.
if you strong these subjects then you have very good chances of clearing the psu in first attempt. Also prepare aptitude so it will give you edge over other in some exams. |
