I am student of computer science and i want to prepare for gate2013 but i cant afford to join coaching institute so i want to prepare for gate by self study so please help me how to prepare for gate.

How can i prepare for GATE after doing 3rd year B.tech in computer science

==> Create a study schedule giving more time to your weaker areas

==> For Engineering Mathematics focus on understanding the basic concepts and then study applications in depth

==> Prepare a quick revision list for Engineering Mathematics with all the important formula

==> The key to scoring in Engineering Mathematics is practice.

==> Practice as many questions as you can.

==> Practice your approximation and calculation skills for the numerical answer questions

==> Preferably study from books specified for GATE

==> Attempt numerical questions you are not confident about only if you have time left as numerical questions have no negative marking
