For clearing campus of any company you must have strong apptitude skills, analytical skills, fair communication in english, and positive attitude.

Go through GRE barrons, RS Agrawal for preparation of campus.

TCS took online test and there is negative marking in the test .
They ask 35 question in arond 30 mins with 1/3rd negative marks.
Cutoff is nearly 20 marks.

to get recruited in TCS you should be technically strong and also you should be able to solve the different types of aptitude questions.
certified courses like the C,C++, JAVAA and other operating softwares would be always helpful in various recruitments.

TCS campus recruitment consists of 3 phase:
written test
general interview
hr/management interview

Written test is conducted online comprising of 3 Sections:
1. verbal ability test (40 questions, 20 minutes)
2. quantitative aptitude Test (32 questions, 40 minutes)
3. Critical Reasoning (30 Minutes: 3 Analysis Paragraphs and 12 questions Relating them).
4. Psychometric Test (150 Questions, 30 minutes: only if you Qualify in the above tests)

Recommended books for written test:
Verbal Ability - GRE BARRON’S 12th Edition & upward
quantitative aptitude - r.s.agarwal
reasoning - R.S.AGARWAL

For qualifying in TCS you need to be perfect in English.You should be strong in the aptitude part.Please just go though the previous year question papers so that you have a clear cut about it.

for TCS very easy to prepare.. there is a training company called FACE ... they are providing test papers.. from that only they will ask..

Hi,

You need to prepare aptitude, reasoning and English for clearing written test.
You can prepare it from RS Aggarwal books and Barron's GRE.
Next round is technical. you need to prepare 2-3 subjects perfectly and know very good about your project.
Last round is HR. you need to cinfident and look into their eyes while answering.

TCS placement is not so hard to crack.
You should be clear with basic concepts questions asked in General aptitude.
They conduct 3 rounds generally Aptitude test ,GD,Personal Interview & finally HR.
Be clear with basic concepts of your stream.
Also do refer some general aptitude books.

see for preparing for tcs u must first pepare thoroughly ur core branch

For TCS, if you are applying for careers related to hardware, the aptitude test will be very hard. it is like 35 questions online having 1/3 negative marking. Otherwise, it is easy to follow with.....

to prepare for companies like TCS you need to be really competitive and good in apps...try and solve its latest pattern of question and also keep in touch with its pattern as it changes regularly...concentrate more on apps questions as it will be easier than reasoning...so practice more and more questions and get familiar with the questions...good luck!

Eligibility Criteria For TCS campus placement...

1) 60% marks in 10th, 12th and B.E/B.Tech degree..

2) Student who have attended TCS placement before but not selected should not attend the placement for next 6months.

3) Must register in openseesame TCS placement portal.

This was the criteria given for us while we attended TCS placement in our campus.....

Preparing for the TCS interview is not a big deal, you have to know your fundas of your course, practise a lot in the following topics:

>verbal ability
>mental ability
>reasoning
>aptitude
>communication skills
>presentation

All these will be instrumental in cracking your placement interview.

listen TCS is one of the most reputed companies of India. It is not easy to crack the interviue. So you have to prepare yourself very well.
At first I suggest you to make your spoken power of english very good. After that you have to you must prepare yourself soo good in any 3 subjects, so that you can answer any questions from those subjects in the intervieu. most main subjects are C, DATA STRUCTURE, MICROPROCESSOR,C++, JAVA etc etc.
And for cracking the Aptitude test before the interviues, I am suggesting you 2 books.
those are......
1. RS AGARWAL'S VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL
2. RS AGARWAL'S QUANTATIVE APTITUDE.

what is tcs salary package for mca 2011 freshers?

Pleas e do not join IT companies escpecialoly if you are from mechanical/electrical/civil... They will put you in BPO tyope projects pakka... TCS infy wipro all are same...i am in TCS now but i swear i wont be returning to IT in my life.. I will be a farmer which is looked down upon but is actually a much better profession than this according to me...

TCS salary package for freshers are as follows...

-> B.Tech Fresher - 3.15 LPA

-> MCA Fresher - 3.35 LPA

TCS campus placements:
it is quite easy to get placed in TCS if you work really hard.
TCS new placement pattern is aptitude followed by interview.
aptitude: pattern followed is called touchstone. it is a online test with negative marks. the questions will be basically logical type no formulae required only logical thinking will be helpful. PFA for question types.
Interview: go in with full confidence. confidence is most required factor. with confidence you can easily crack interview. but communication skill must be good for sure so improve communication skill.
prepare well put in lots hard work and attend interview confidently. you can definitely get job in TCS.

just prepare for at least two subjects of your choice , like C, data structure, java , DBMS etc. and get the previous years aptitude test paper and practice it , most importantly you should be friendly. Remember prepare any two subject as good as possible

i got good marks in aptitude test but my interview doesn't go well. what can i expect

TCS generally ask questions from reasonings and aptitude

you need to focus in following areas:
verbal ability
mental ability
reasoning
aptitude
communication skills

R S Aggarwal reasoning book will help you in facing written exams of TCS

To Apply for TCS Campus Placements You have required an aggregate of 60% Marks in 10th, 12th, Graduation OR in Post Graduation. Only then you are eligible to appear in TCS Campus Placements.

But According to your eligiblity, You have not mentain 60% Marks since form 10th.

So, i think you will be face some problem, while you are appear for TCS Recruitment.

hi... i compltd my diploma in ece i have agregate 85%,Now im doing btech in KITS warangal due to some reasons i have one backlog in 2nd year ,am i eligible for campus placement?

does minute aggregate difference matter during placements? like if one has 65 other 62%
