Dear,

Railway jobs are considered ideal both in terms of facilities and job security.After 10th you will be eligible to write for the entrance test for clerk positions in railways. Apart from 10th qualification other eligibility criteria to write this test are:

1. Minimum 50% in 10th.
2. Age= 18 to 28 years.

Selection process for this post will be a written test and if you qualify it you will get the job. There will not be any interview or other formalities for selection after you qualify the written test.

So prepare well for the test. Topics for it are:

1. Numerical ability
2. General knowledge
3. General English
4. Clerical aptitude

Some of the other posts in railways for which you can apply after 10th are:

1. Commercial Clerk, Ticket Examiner, Trains Clerk
   Selection process:written exams and medical test.
   Age:18-30 years
   Salary:Rs.5200-Rs.20200 + grade pay Rs.2000
   
2. Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk Cum Typist
   Selection process:written exam and typing test.
   Age:18-30 years
   Salary:Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 + grade pay
   
3. RPF constable
   Selection processhysical test and written exam
   Age:18 – 30 years
   Salary: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 + grade pay

If you belong to special category then you will be allowed for age relaxation


Education qualification must be an aggregate of 50% in your 10th standard.

After the passing the 10th class you can apply for the job posts in Indian Railways in Group C and Group D departments ..

In these departments posts in which you can apply:

Ticket checker
Ticket collector
Commercial clerk
Data entry job post
Clerk job in train etc

You can apply for these job posts through the RRB entrance exam which has been conducted by the RRB department

Selection process:
1. RRB written test
2. Interivew

Now there is no nay vacancy in between you can do it preparation for the entrance exam and interview..
