Written exam of FCI comprises of two parts. Part I syllabus of FCI exam is based on subject related topics. Second part of the written exam comprises questions from Computer Awareness, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, etc. You can refer books of qualifying examination for clearing part I of the exam. For second part you can refer books on verbal/numerical ability from publishers like Agarwal, S.Chand, etc. Reading newspapers is the most effective method to get through general awareness section.
