How should I prepare for postal assistant? Question papers of Postal Assistant

You can apply for Indian Postal Service.



Eligibility criteria for Postal Assistant :-

1] The candidates must be a citizen of India.

2] The age limit of candidates must be between 18 to 27 years.

3] The candidates must be passed his/ her 12th class from any recognized university.

And more thing is that the candidates must be scored 60% marks in English subject.

4] There is also a relaxation provided to SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates as per government rule.

5] The candidates must have knowledge how to write, read, and speak his/ her local language.

Selection procedure for Postal Assistant consists of two papers :-

>> Paper 1 : Objective type

>> Paper 2 :- Skill test

1] Paper 1

Syllabus :-

This paper consists of four sections :-

>> General Knowledge

>> Mathematics

>> English

>> Reasoning ability

* Each section consists of 25 questions.

* Each question consists of 1 mark.

*Time duration is 2 hours.

* 100 questions of 100 marks

The minimum marks the candidate must have to get for the job of postal assistant :-

It varies to different category candidates :-

>> For General :- 40% marks

>> For SC/ ST :- 33% marks

>> For OBC :- 38% marks

Paper 2 :-

The candidate only who qualify the paper 1 can apply for Paper 2.

Syllabus :-

1] Typing

*Time duration is 15 minutes

*In this section, the candidate must have to type 450 words in English or 350 words in Hindi as an essay.

*Speed must be 30 words per minute

2] Data entry work

*Time duration is 15 minutes.

*This paper only use of computer keyboard.
