First of all there is no common test for diploma. Every state conducts their exams for taking student in Diploma. You have to appear for your state level entrance exam in order to do study diploma.

Eligibility of Diploma entrance exam-
The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in diploma exam is 10th class. Those students who had completed their 10th class are eligible to apply for Diploma entrance exams.

If you get good marks in diploma entrance exam then you can choose Mechanical stream in any good college.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
