for inorganic chemistry, formulas are important. you must try to solve maximum number of examples to get used to the solving questions quickly. and theory you will have to read atleast twice so that you can remember it well. good luck |

Re: How to solve inorganic and organic questions?
Quote:
There is no such hard and fast rule for solving inorganic and organic questions. The very first requirement is command on theory. At least you should be aware of the fundamental things. e.g. in case of Organic chemistry questions You must know the right reaction mechanisms. For knowing reaction mechanism you should know the behavior of a particular type of compound, resonance, inductive effect etc . If you don't know these basic things you won't be able to solve problems. So the very first thing you should do is read the text books well and try to understand everything crystal clear. If you get any doubt must ask your teacher and/or your friends. Group study always adds positive points. In Inorganic chemistry there is nothing complicated as per 12th std. All you have to do is to read NCERT book completely and remember all the important points. Best wishes.. |

Re: How to solve inorganic and organic questions?
questions of organic and inorganic can be easily solved by having total control on the basic rules of them. Try to repeat and learn the rules continuously. a little misunderstanding of the rules can disturb the whole. try todo it and BEST OF LUCK. :-)

Re: How to solve inorganic and organic questions?
Well to sort out chemistry you need to take small successful strides... chemistry at first glance looks daunting and labyrinthine,,,
start with chapters you find easiest... For inorganic learn periodic table, recall school concepts how size and reactivity vary vertically and horizontally.... THE REASON WE SHOULD LEARN PERIODIC TABLE IS THAT:: elements in a group are like kins they have similar relationship so if somebody tells that an element forms positive ions that mens it is a metal further if sombdy says its forms co-ordinate compounds..its probably a d-block element,... so learn to group elements according to their similarity, learn their properties and at the same time play with them ..quiz yourself , learn it like gk.. you'll do good For Organic learn upto allyl and ring compounds...phenols, writing several time would help!! then start playing random games ... i.e. make anything from anything one step at a time.. i mean kuch bi that comes to ur mind.. this way you'll learn to apply reactions, give it sufficient time.. only the beginning is tough. then you'll sail like a surfer wishes diego IIT 2007 |

Re: How to solve inorganic and organic questions?
Hi.
Organic and Inorganic Chemistry has to be done in totally different manners. Let me tell you a bit that I can : For the Inorganic Chemistry, please stick and keep yourself confined to the NCERT ONLY. Learn each line so thoroughly and each reaction v finely, and I guarantee you some questions would definitely click in major examinations. However for the Organic, Do not learn, rather Understand each reaction, and its core mechanism. Learn about the different reactions, how they make a change and then practice it a lot. The more you practice and keep in touch with the organic, the better it would get for you. All the best. $RJ$ |
