You can join to 2nd year of B.Tech (Civil engineering), if you are a diploma holder. Admissions are done through lateral entry entrance exams. A minimum of 70% marks in diploma and valid score in LPU NEAT is required to seek admission in LPU. At least 50% marks in diploma are enough to join with MRIU. Thapar University, Pondichery University, etc conducts entrance test for admission.

I am doing B.tech(degree) in Kalyani(West Bengal) and i want to do 2nd year in Kolkata, what can i do in this case?
