i had completed my btech 1st year in it branch,now i need to change my branch.how?

Yeah you can change your branch in 2nd year but for changing your first year score should be nice.
Actually what happened you have to submit an application to institution for branch change like you many of your's friend also apply.According to your 1st year performance they make merit list of students.
They also display about the vacant seat available in each branch.According to your performance they give you the choice which branch you will get.So,to take branch of your choice you must be in top 10 candidate of merit list.

It is possible to change branch after locking the choices in uptu?

i completed the b.tech in it branch. how many times required if i want to b.tech in me branc

its simple..if u want to change your branch to another better branch in your college then u might need a minimum CGPA of 8 or above. Sometimes,even 7.5 n above is also sufficient. Just write an application to your dean or whomsoever is concerned with the upgradations and request him to change your branch..
u dont have to be nervous as this is quite normal in every college..even many of my friends got their branches changed after the beginning of the 2nd year by using the same procedure so i dont think,it will be much of a problem..

First year in btech is same for all branches ..........you can change your branch in 2nd year .......but you have to score the minimum cgpa that your college wants In maximum colleges minimum cgpa is 8.

so, ask about the minimum cgpa for branch change in college office....
