Sorry you are not eligible to appear for the bank test. The minimum age limit is 20. The new eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam 2013 -You must have a degree Until now, even +2 pass candidates were allowed to sit for bank exams. However, starting this year, the criteria has been changed. For IBPS Clerk CWE 2013, you must have a valid degree from a recognized university. -You must have computer skills This is another significant change that has happened in IBPS Clerk Exam 2013’s criteria. At the time of application, you need to show proof that you have basic computer skills. This proof could be your mark sheet of +2, if you had computer science as a subject, or a certificate course from a recognized institute such as NIIT. -Age limit The lower age limit for IBPS Clerk Exam 2013 is 20 years, while the upper age limit is 28 years. Application to only one state This year, you can apply to national banks in one state only. In order to apply to a particular state, you must be fluent in the local language of the state. |

Graduation is the basic qualification for bank exams. Such candidates can apply for CWE for Clerk/P.O positions conducted by IBPS. They should submit adequate documents proving eligibility at the time of interview. You can also attend the selection test, provided you must adequate documents at the time of interview. For clerical post the upper age limit is 28 years and that for P.O, it is 30 years.

You can not apply for the bank exam until you have completed the graduation course. Even final year students are not eligible for it. Therefore you will first have to complete graduation. Besides the minimum age to apply is 20 years for bank exams while you are 19 years old.
Once you have completed graduation you can apply for IBPS Clerk and IBPS Bank PO entrance exam. In my opinion you should appear for the Bank PO entrance exam. The use of bank exams is that you can apply for job in Public sector banks. It is like a government job. Like I mentioned after graduating you will be eligible for the exam. The Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) conducts Clerk exam twice in a year while Bank PO is conducted once in the month of June. The details of exact procedure to apply is given on the www.ibps.in. This information is released along with the official notification for the exam. It also explains the procedure to apply for the entrance exam. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. Candidate can apply if he/she is Indian citizen. 2. Under graduate degree in any discipline will be enough. 3. There is no percentage issue. 4. The age limit is 20 to 30 years for this particular exam. Age Relaxation 1. OBC - 3 years 2. SC - 5 years 3. ST - 5 years 4. PWD - 10 years After clearing the IBPS Bank PO, you can apply for job in any of the following 19 Public sector banks but it depends on vacancies in the particular bank. Allahabad Bank Andhra Bank Bank of Baroda Bank of Maharashtra Bank of India Central Bank of India Canara Bank Dena Bank Corporation Bank Indian Overseas Bank Indian Bank Punjab National Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Syndicate Bank Punjab & Sind Bank United Bank of India Union Bank of India Vijaya Bank UCO Bank |
