To write the descriptive questions you have to folwow these points:
*As first you observr the lenth of question and deside how much time would be allowted for this. *Then try to reject some un immportant lines and underline the very immportant lines. *See the time and try to compleateb the question within due time. Thanks, |

Re: How to write descriptive questions?
Dear Pradnya,
When you are attempting to answer either a descriptive or a short question, you need to consider the following three elements: SLD: the subject, the limitation, and the direction The Subject - What is the central idea The Limiting words - What is the main focus and where can you cut short The Direction words - What is it that you have to do This analysis of the question helps you in: enabling to orientate yourself and present a relevant answer for the topic. structuring the Introduction. If you are interested in having an indepth understanding of the above text, I would be more than happy to help! |

Re: How to write descriptive questions?
you have to mentioned for which type of examination you are appearing and you want to write descriptive type questions. still there is some rules to write answer for descriptive type question you may follow them.
to start one descriptive type question try to give some introduction about which you are writing. introduction should contain the origin of the topic and small discussion about the topic may be the definition of the terms which are used in the topic. after introduction give some historical background of the topic if any. historical background means how the topic came and previously what was it's use. there may not be for all questions there will be some history. if there is no history then just avoid this point. this will be very short description. after that come to the main topic. explain the topic point wise. you may use different color to underline the points. you may use bullet at the starting of point. use paragraph when you are changing from one point to other point. don't repeat one thing again and again. whatever you will write, write it clear in simple language so that examiner can understand what you know. try to avoid spelling mistake. at the last of the answer give conclusion about the topic in brief. the length of the answer should be according to the marks given for the question. also you have to answer the question within time limit.so be careful on that. i think if you follow this few things easily you will get good marks from descriptive type questions. |

Re: How to write descriptive questions?
hi friend
descriptive writing requires a lots of cramming and a bag full of new words for which you vocabulary must be strong. first of all give a idea of about what you are writing secondly mention each and every detail.... to elaborate the paragraph.. for instance if you are describing a particular thing then mention all its aspects that which colour it was , what was the size , about its age , texture, material ,condition every thing then at last you may conclude the whole topic by a small overview all the best |
