sir,IASE University is UGC approved.because it is a University.
AICTE gives approval to only technical institutions providing graduate and post graduate degree in any engineering discipline.

but UGC gives approval to the Universities only,which provide all the branches of studies,like MBA,B.Tech/M.Tech/BBA/B.Com etc

Yes, IASE university approved by UGC , and it has a formal recognition of Deemed University. The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) was sponsored by a non-governmental, Non-profit-motive making registered society, namely, Gandhi Vidya Mandir (GVM).


no need to worry abut AICTE approval as AICTE approval needs for the technical colleges like engineering college. And UGC approval needed for courses like B.A, B.COM, BBA, MBA ETC.....

IASE - Institute of Advanced Studies in EducationGovernment of India has accorded it the formal recognition of University, under Section 3 of the UGC Act-1956 vide notification F.9/29/2000-U.3 of 25th June 2002, and by the UGC vide notification F.6-25/2001 (cpp-i) of 27th July 2002.
It is approved by UGC.

IASE is a NAAC accredited B+ (79% i.e. 5 star rated) institute, and is also NS.EN ISO 9001:2000 certified organization.

IASE University has been granted the status of deemed to be university under section 3 of the ugc act.So the degrees awarded by that university are valid and recognized.Even the distance education programmes in this university are also recognized by the Distance Education Council.So the students of the IASE University are entitled to apply for central and state government jobs and also for promotions based on the degrees awarded by the IASE University.

The Aicte approval is necessary if the college provides the technical education, but the UGC approval is necessary for all the Universities.

B.Tech Electrical course completed from IASE university during2003-2007. I received Provisional and ORIGINAL DEGREE also.

I passed BA course in July 2011 through distance edu. through your univ after completion of my degree I submit my degree to my deptt. but our deptt does not agree with this because univ is not recog. by dec and send the authority letter of dec in the period of 2008 to 2011.

I tried to clear IBPS exam, but when i show them my marksheet they told me this is fake marksheet. and the licence of IASE university has been cancelled by UGC and it is a black listed university . i paid for that. give me correct reply. i did so many effort to join the banking sector, but my all effort has been gone in hell. give the reply.

IASE University is approved by (UGC University Grants Commission) .
