Can I apply for government jobs asking for first class in engineering ,I have scored 62 % in B.E ECE? I am a fresher (2011 passed out) I have 63% in 10th(CBSE) and 78% in 12th (State Board). Can you please tel me the upcoming government exam in my field ? and how to prepare for the exams so that i can become an employee of government.

Dates of some of the upcoming government exams to be conducted by UPSC in which you can appear as per your choice are as follows;
Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam: 29.1.2012
Combined Defense Service Exam: 12.2.2012
National Defense Academy Exam: 15.4.2012
Civil Service Exam: 20.5.2012
Engineering Services Exam: 15.6.2012
Indian Forest Service Exams: 14.7.2012
Regarding getting a job with Government of india first of all you have to clear the entrance exam which has questions generally from english language, maths, science, general knowledge, aptitude, current affairs, logical reasoning etc. Candidates clearing the entrance exams are shortlisted and called for group discussion and then they face personal interview. Successful candidates of these rounds get the job. Select the exam you wish to prepare for and then practice for it with several books which are available for the concerned exams or you can take some expert guidance from institution who prepare for competitive exams.

i am a diploma in computer engineering student.do you have any jobs available for the bank postings?

If I have 70 percent in BE ECE but i studied demeed university and I score 60 percent in 12th std can I apply for any goverment jobs?

"yes you can apply for government job but for applying government job regarding engineering, they ask for Gate marks so for government job you have to give gate exams for mare detail about gate exam go to

yes you can apply for government jobs.there are various jobs for you after completion of graduation.

Your marks are very good in graduation.you are eligible for all government jobs.

There are various government companies for ECE student like NTPC,BHEL,DRDO,SAIL,HPCL you can apply for these companies.

UPSC conducts various entrance exam for graduate students.UPSC has announsed calander of all exam of this year.you can choose jobs from this list.website of UPSC-

hlw sir,,i m a student of b.tech cse 3rd year.i get 56% in 10th class and 59%in 12th class.and my b.tech cpga is 64%(up to 5th sem).i am interested to join indian air force.so please give me advise for IAF.can i elligible for IAF if i secure above 65%after b.tech?for joining IAF which type of exams are required.please send me a advisable reply.
