i want to know what are all the government jobs available for ECE .( i am in final year ece and what are all the government exams i can write now itself)

Generally these companies before recruitment provide notification.Through notification you can apply to these companies and should attend the exams conducted by them.

Dear friend,

You have completed the B-TECH from ECE departments.

So the govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO etc.

The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candidate.

You must be completed graduation with above 60% then you are eligible.

There are many job opportunities for ECE students in government sector.
You can give IES exam conducted by UPSC. Your age should be 21-30 years for appearing in this exam.
You can give BSNL JTO (Junior Telecom Officer) exam.
Other than these you can apply in following public sector companies-
* VSNL
* MTNL
* BHEL
* ISRO
* NTPC
* Indian Railway etc.
These companies give advertisements in newspapers. You should regularly check them.

1]CDS -Combined defence srevice this exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
This exam is only for those candidate who has completed their graduation in any discipline.
Age limit for Army 19-24 years .
Age limit for Navy 18-22 years.
Age limit for Air force 19-23 years.
2]SSC- Short service commission a candidate can also join defense as a officer through SSC entrance exam .This paper is also conducted by UPSC .But it is short service commission it means a candidate can serve in defense for limited period .

Age limit for Air force 19-23 years.
3]TGS -Techinical graduate scheme in this a candidate should have degree in engineering Age limit for Army 19-24 years .

CIVIL SERVICES::Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC to select candidates for the post of IAS,IPS.This exam is conducted in two phase preliminary and the main which consist of written and interview .Only after clearing prelims you will be able take the main exam.To be eligible for the civil service :

You must have completed your graduation and you should be between 21 to 30 years of age.

CDSE::It is conducted twice a year by the UPSC to select students at officer post in the ARMY,NAVY and AIR FORCE.Since you have completed your bachelor degree in commerce then you are eligible to join ARMY by taking CDSE exam and clearing it.

But if you have physics and maths as a subject in class 12th then you are eligible for the navy and air force post too.

BANK EXAMS:You can also take clerical and the PO bank exam. Different bank conduct their clerk and PO exam in which all graduate students who have a little knowledge of computer is eligible

CBI:Crime branch of India is one of the prestigious government body you can also joint this by taking exam call CGPE or SSC.

For ECE candidates Gate is the turning point.

Through the Gate exam you can step into the following companies:

ISRO

DRDO

BHEL

BARC....etc

To achieve gate you have to work hard and subject knowledge is more important.

The percentage of B.tech should be 68%.

After 12th class you can appear for NDA exam to join in Indian Navy.

This exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice,to take qualified students into different defense service like Indian Air Force Academy,Indian Navy Academy and Indian Army Academy.

Eligibility criteria for NDA(Indian Navy) exam:

You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university.

And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

NDA exam notification release in the month of December and June Every year.And exam will held on April,August month respectively.

So you can appear for NDA exam,when you fulfill with criteria,to join in Indian Navy.
