I am listing a few important chapters which are asked the most in IIT JEE Exam:

1. Relations and Fucntions
2. Trigonometry
3. Calculus ( Both differential and Integral )
4. 3D Geometry and Vectors
5. Probability.

I have observed the pattern of IIT over last 4 years and these stand out the most important topics.
Please practice them as much as you can.

3. Complex number

4. circle

5. matrices and determinant

6. probability

7. parabola

8. circle

9. AOD

10. Defferentiation

11. integration

Study this chapters very well. First go through the basics very well. If you can clear your basics well, it will make yourself very much confident......

Also practice all the problems from this chapters. You can also join coaching centres. from there you can get practice papers, mock test papers, tricks, tips, etc etc....

1)definite integeral
2)area under curve
3)coordinate geometry-parabola,hyperbola and circle
4)probability

the most important topic for iit exams are calculus [40-45]%approx coordinate[20-25]%matrix trignometry[15]%complex no permutation and binomial theorem

is permutation and binomial important from iit point of view?
