combined engineering service examination..please give me the details

Combined Engineer Service Examination is held once every year by Union Public Service Commission for recruitment of engineers to the four categories of engineering services which are Electrical and Electronics engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The engineers selected through this examination are appointed at various post in government organisations like Indian Railways, Central Engineering Service, Military Engineering Service, Central Power engineering services, etc.

* To be eligible for appearing in the same examination you must have the qualifications given below ;-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 21 years to 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* You must have completed your bachelor of engineering / bachelor of technology degree course with any one of the four trades mentioned above from a recognized university.
