You will not be able to apply for Karnataka Administrative Services Exam 2013 as because its registration date has passed out.The last date for Exam Registration was 15th June 2103.

Eligibility requirements :

• You should have a Graduate/Post Graduate degree in B.A/B.sc/B.com from recognized university.
• Your age should be between 21 years to 35 years.

KAS Exam will be conducted into three stages.These are :

1. Preliminary Examination (Stage I).
2. Main Examination (Stage II).
3. Personality test (Stage III).

Exam Pattern for Preliminary Exam and its syllabus :


A)Paper I :-

• General Studies related to National and International Importance - Total number of questions will be 40 and Total marks will be 80.
• Humanities - Total number of questions will be 60 and Total marks will be 120.

B)Paper II :-

• General Studies related to state importance - Total number of questions will be 40 and Total number of marks will be 80.
• General science and Technology - Total number of questions will be 30 and Total number of marks will be 60.
• General Mental Ability - Total number of questions will be 30 and Total number of marks will be 60.

KAS (Karnataka Administrative Service) Exam is conducted by KPSC(Karnataka Public Service Commission) once in every year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should be citizen of India.

Candidates should have complete graduation or any equivalent bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Final year candidates also eligible for this exam.

Age limit:

General Category age limit: 20 to 30 years.

OBC category age limit: 21 to 33 years.

SC/ST category age limit: 21 to 35 years.

Selection process:


Preliminary Examination

Mains Examination

Personnel Interview.

Important Dates:

KAS may apply online before 10th of June 2013 till 5:30 Pm.

Applications forms will be invited form all skilful and interested candidates only prescribed format of application through online mode in the month of June 2013 for KAS Main Exam.

KPSC has published the notification for recruitment of 352 post of Group A & B Officers.
