i m msc cs.student pls giv me information net exmam..can i get into the exam

Yes as you have completed your M.Sc you can definitely attend the NET exam. This is an exam which is conducted by the UGC. The minimum eligibility for attending this exam is a post graduation in any discipline. You need to score at least 55% marks in the PG level. If you qualify in the written exam, you can get qualified for the lecture positions in government colleges or universities.

DETAILS INFORMATION ABOUT NET EXAM

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

EXAM DATE FOR NET EXAM:-


The NET exam date is18-12-2011 But still UGC have not published application brochure .

The application details will be published in 26th September,2011.So you have to prepare well for NET exam.

There are one declaration is announced UGC . No negative Marking in Paper-I and Paper -II exam.

Online form will available after 20 th September.

Date of Close of Online Submission: 25 Th October 2011

Information On NET Exam

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted by the University Grants Commission every year for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship

The NET Exam is conducted twice every year in the months of June and December

The candidates must fulfill the following conditions for appearing in the NET Exam :-

1) The candidates must have completed their post graduation with an aggregate of 55% without rounding off (5% relaxation for reserved categories)

2) Although there is no upper age limit for the lectureship but if you are applying for the JRF then your age must be less than 28 years on the first date of the month of the exam

The last date for the form submission for the December,2011 NET Exam was 8th November,2011

The 2nd NET Exam for 2011 was conducted on 24th December,2011

2. Age Limit For JRF (NET) = Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years.

3. Age Limit For LS (NET) = Minimum 19 years

NET exam conduct by UGC twice in a year in the month of june and december for lecturership and jrf.

Notification for net exam comes in the month of March and September.For this exam you can apply ONLINE only.

If you want to sit in ugc net exam, you should be complete your post graduate with 55% marks in any subject from any recognised university.
for Net exam you have to select that subject by which you have completed your Post Graduation.

There is no upper age limit for lectureship.but for jrf age should be 28 years for general.(Relaxation for other category).

UGC NET Exam pattern:-

This exam will consist of three papers.
