SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentices) Examination conducted by the UPSC is given as under, for the reference of aspirants.

Special Class Railway Apprentices) Examination comprises of three written Exams as mentioned under:

Paper I

1. English: The questions will be designed to test the candidates' understanding and command of the language.

2. General Knowledge

3. Psychological Test: The questions will be designed to assess the basic intelligence and mechanical aptitude of the candidate.

2. Chemistry

You Must Have Attained The Age Of Minimum 17 Years And Must Not Have Attained The Age Of 21 Years.

Upper Age Limit Is Relaxed By 5 Years For SC/ST Candidates And 3 Years For OBC Candidates.


Educational Qualification -

To Apply For UPSC SCRA Examination You Must Have Passed In The First Or Second Division, The Intermediate Or An Equivalent Examination Of A Recognised University Or Board With Mathematics And Atleast One Of The Subjects Physics and Chemistry As Subjects OfTthe Examination.

OR

Graduates With Mathematics And Atleast One Of The Subjects Physics and Chemistry As Their Degree Subjects May Also Apply For UPSC SCRA Examination.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCRA EXAM :

AGE : The candidate aspiring for the SCRA exam must have attained 17 years of age & must not have completed 21 years on 1st August of the year of examination.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

*Must have passed in the I or II division, the intermediate or an equivalent examination of the university or board approved by the government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects fo the examination.
Graduates with Mathematicas and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply, or

*must have passed in the I or II division , the higher secondary 12 class examination under 10+2 pattern of school eduaction with mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics and chemistry as subjects of the examination ,
