ISRO had made some changes in the selection of candidates for written exam........
there was a news that not all candidates have received their admit card for written exam ...... when asked to ISRO ......they said that they have short listed candidates even before the written exam ......based on the biodata sent........

only those students who have scored more than 70% in BE have been selected for written exam.........

the call letters have been e-mailed to all the shortlisted candidates......

don't worry, if you don't get ISRO hall ticket, then
please contact the IIST authorities through
telephone or email, After due verification, ISAT-2010
may issue appropriate instructions to facilitate the candidate
to write the examination, subject to certain conditions...........

hey dont panic, there may be some transportation problem due to which you will be receiving your admit card a bit late......

still if you feel like you can contact the concerned authority regarding this matter or you can ask for a duplicate copy of your admit card......

Selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview and written test of the candidate. The candidate selection is also based on the rules and regulation of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

You have to visit the web-site http://www.isro.gov.in to register for applications on-line.

The application form must be sent to the following address.
Administrative Officer (ICRB),
ISRO Headquarters,
Antariksh Bhavan,
New BEL Road,
Bangalore -560 231

Candidates short-listed based on the performance in the written test will be called for interview,then final selection will depend on the merit list.

Though it is intimated that hallticket can be downloaded from Feb 20 onwards for IIST examination 2011 still it indicates it will be enabled shortly till date(23/2/11) as scientists are supposed to be as good as their words in deeds. Will they enable it to be downloaded today or it is beyond their ken to carrry out this work?

in the notification only they said that hall ticket will not be posted to ur address.all communication will be through ur e-mail id only.

it will come to your mail in the last week of march!!! but i donno if anyone has started getting it...i havent got yet!! last year it was heard that the cutoff was 70....but this year probably it should be less!!! last year there was recession and many students were jobless....now that is not the case....so..hopefully they may select all above 65%......

At first it looked as a simple mail......but it's only the admit card they have told to bring alongwith...... :-)
