There are many things you can do after completing BDS course:

1.PG Entrance Examination.
2.MDS (Masters of Dental Surgery)


Ater BDS You have following opportunity.

1.Start Your own clinic.(Depending completely upto you_Most effective for future)
2.Join in a government hospital or a private hospital
3.Work as a lecturer in any reputed dental college. (For this I Think MDS is better)
4.You can join in various company which produce oral products
5.Work as dental consultant .
6.Can go for research also in India or abroad

what is the pay given to a B.D.s faculty?

Depends on the type of college you are working for. Initially most of the private colleges pay from 8-10K pm.
