Hi,

I have recently completed my B.Tech in CSE from NIT ngp and now wanted to pursue my masters in International Business. I have applied to a couple of universities in the UK. I wanted to know about the job prospects of above mentioned in India. Also if it is better to do this course from India or from abroad. Please help me.

I am not sure why you want to do MBA in International business. My suggestion to you is to go for general MBA courses and specialise in one of the management functional areas like marketing or finance or HR. Then may be a diploma in International business could be an additional qualification you could have. Career opportunities are mainly in expost/import sector and in MNC's.

This particular programme definitly has good scope in the global market as well as in India.

Hi, Specialisation in International Business is literally considered good in corporate world though it not so booming in India at present. But, candidates taking this specialisation is considerably high considering the future prospect. Masters in IB from universities abroad especially UK, US will have good scope in India considering Exposure. So It is not at all a bad option.

Hi, Pay to professional with IB specialisation is not considerably high, Not low either. Can expect a decent remuneration. Top end placements for MBA graduates from Symbiosis Institute of International business seemed to be 6 to 7 lacs last year. So, you can judge with this, the pay in India.

usually,MBA graduates can earn above 3L per annum at first..

with this course,you can expect above 6L per annum in abroad...
