I think nowadays every system is specialized by computerizing that system.
This makes the system more accurate and time saving....
Computers are nowadays used in many govt sectors. I tell you that it is also introduced in Railways also.. So you can also do that....

I think there are no particular exams specially for B.E (IT)

you have missed the opportunity while you are in Intermediate

if you decided at that time then you could get a job till now i.e., through RRB

(Railway Recruitment exam)

anyways

now also you have opportunity but in a very rare case

sometimes the railways may require the b.tech graduates for their special posts

at that time they will announce the requirements in the leading newspapers

you should regularly be a reader of such papers

so that you will get updated with such exams
