Since you are Engineering student, there are several jobs for you in the Indian Railways. Engineering candidates are always required in the Indian Railway. Every year Railways publish job post for the vaccancies in the different department. To be eligible for Railways job in technical department, candidates are required to appear in the UPSC Civil Service Entrance Exam. It is important to give the entrance exam since jobs in all government sectors and Public Sector Undertakings are not offered without entrance exam.
The jobs in Indian Railways have been divided in four groups: Group A Group B Group C Group D Since Engineering students are eligible for the technical jobs, you can apply for the Group A jobs in Indian Railways. These jobs are: Indian Railways Traffic service Indian Railways Personnel service Indian Railways store service Indian Railways Electrical engineer Sr. section engineer Junior engineer Senior P- way supervisor Cheif Depot Material Superintendent Depot Material Superintendent etc ELIGIBILITY Qualification: BE/B.Tech degree in CSE,Civil,Mechanical,EEE,ECE,EIE,Automobile. You should score at least 55 percent marks in the Engineering degree. Age: Your age should be between 20 to 35 years. There are some relaxation in upper age limit for the reserve category candidates. Entrance exam syllabus : 1.Reasoning 2.General English 3.General Aptitude 4.General Knowledge 5.Computer science |

ELIGIBILITY
Qualification: BE/B.Tech degree in CSE,Civil,Mechanical,EEE,ECE,EIE,Automobile. You should score at least 55 percent marks in the Engineering degree. Age: Your age should be between 20 to 35 years. There are some relaxation in upper age limit for the reserve category candidates. Entrance exam syllabus : 1.Reasoning 2.General English 3.General Aptitude 4.General Knowledge 5.Computer science |

To join in Indian Railway after B.E/B.Tech,you can apply for IES exam.IES stands for Indian Engineering Service.This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.There are varies engineering post under IES exam that are

you can give the exam of SCRA 2013 exam. Eligibility criteria is candidate Should have passed 12th with one compulsory subject maths. candidate who are appearing their 12th exam are also eligible for SCRA 2013 Age criteria is candidate must be in between 17 to 21 year |

sir I want to say that in first two years of my b.e , I cud only secure 54% marks , so I want to ask are u talking about final year( degree) result or about total 8 seems overall result ? please clarify?
