Do we need to go to pune to write the entrance exam as i want to join my daughter Army to serve the nation and even she is very much interested.She is pursuing her 12th standard in Telangana.

AFMC stands for Armed Forces Medical College and for getting admission appear in NEET as admission in the same is done on the basis of performance of NEET only.

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and it is national level medical college for admission in any government medical college for the undergraduate medical course. Same is held once every year by CBSE.

--> The minimum qualification you must for being eligible for pursuing MBBS course from AFMC are as given below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian with your age lying within 17 years to 22 years by the final date of that year in which you are going to seek admission in MBBS degree course. Further age relaxation of 2 years is applicable for B.Sc passed or final year candidates.

* You must have passed your Class 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your main subjects from a recognized board. Further your marks in each mentioned subject must be 50% and 60% in PCB group taken together.

No it is not a compulsion to you that you have to go to Pune to write the AFMC exam because entrance exam is conducted in various cities of our country even in Telengana or in other parts of Telengana. You just need to fill the correct examination centre while filling the application form of AFMC entrance exam 2017. Its duty of yours to check the examination centre before filling the examination form.

No, your daughter does not need to go Pune for writing entrance exam. NEET is conducted in every state in certain districts. Your daughter can choose examination center for NEET in Telangana.

For NEET examination, your daughter must have studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics subject and in exam must secure 50% marks. The minimum age limit should be 17 years on 31st December of 2017.

AFMC refers to Armed Forces Medical Colleges and it can be considered as a gateway for becoming doctor in Indian defense sector for a minimum of seven year as students pursuing MBBS course from the same automatically become doctor if they clear their degree successfully.

--> For admission in AFMC for the course of MBBS you must satisfy criteria which are as following :-

* You must be unmarried Indian resident.

* Your age must in between 17 years to 22 years by the 31st December of the same year in which you are appearing in the same examination.

* You must have passed your Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects from a recognized board. Also your aggregate in PCB group must sum up to a minimum of 60% aggregate with a minimum of 50% aggregate in each of the four mentioned subjects.

* Apart from these, you must have appeared in NEET examination as the call letter for screening test are sent to a candidate on the basis of NEET score only.
