i have completed my dioplama in electrical and electronics engineering. i am very interest in joining in indian army so wat is the procedure to join in indian army.plz mention the specifications

you can write the cds exam,if you qualify in it you will be called for interview and physical tests ,

CDS is conducted twice in a year once in mid February(CDS-I) and other in September(CDS-II)
u can apply for CDS-II
date for notification will 24/4/2010

hi, there is the only one way to go in Indian Army is that by NDA (national defence sevices) at 10+2 level and CDS ( combined defence services ) at graduation level.

now as you are a diploma holder ...if you go for graduation in engineering then after that you will be eligible to appear for a lot of exams concerning defense forces like......cds,ues and can even apply for direct selection in 3rd year......

you have to complete your graduation first in order to be eligible for CDSE,and now you are a diploma holder.so get lateral entry into some college complete your degree first and then apply for CDSE.

you can join indian army through NDA.
i think this is the best way to join indian army.

you can join indian army by writting in CDS exam if you want to pursue after your graduation level
and after completing your +2 exam you can go for NDA to join indian army

at his time you can apply for army only for which qualification is based on 12th.
if you will do graduatio then you can get a lot of job scope in army,such as cds.

there are many ways to join indian army :-

1)you can join it as an sipahi after completing your 10th.

2)you can write the NDA exam after 12th and can become an officer .

3)you can write the CDS exam after completing your diploma or degree.

you can join army through CDS exams or you can also try for territorial army wing it is also good and same as normal regular army if you want to join indian army through noncommision posts then try for the army recruitment rally ..

hi....you can join the army by giving CDS exam.........it is easier to get as you are already a graduate engineer......and you have to undergo less training period than if you join army after your 12th.......

for joining the INDIAN ARMY,first of all you have to complete your graduation from any discipline and after that you have to give cds exam,and based on the performance on the exam you will be called for the personal interview.

with only 10th done you might not be able to apply for a officer post ........previously army used to take candidates even with 10th qualification for lowest post......

if you want to apply for officer post then you must complete 12th standard as minimum qualification.......then you can appear for NDA from where you can able appointed as sub lieutenant in Indian army......

You can the Indian Army Technical Branch as Signal corps Cadre or else the communication wing in the Military Intelligence wing, usually after joining the army and then get in to this a Deputation service. Also there are lot of vacancies in the NSG (National Security Guards) Engineers corps which is solely maintained and served the technical people like you. Please try to get the Employment News weekly for the vacancy details.

the minimum eligibility for army selection is ...........

you should be 12th pass....ie. should be at-least 17yrs old.....

so try for it when you cross 17th or your 12th standard board exams....

hey prakash,you can join the indian army after completing you graduation with 60% in aggregate with some recognized university...........

for that you have to appear for the CDS exam conducted by the upsc once in a year...........you can get the information regarding the CDS exam in the official site of upsc - www.upsc.gov.in

an easy way to join army is getting through nda exam. it is conducted every year.
syllabus is all subjects of +2.
you must pass the physical test for it.

No minimum 60% is required.............!


Let me explain briefly

CDS: Combined Defence Service Examination (CDSE) is conducted by upsc (http://www.upsc.gov.in) twice every year for entry into all three defence services.
Eligibility criteria is different for all three. For ARMY- graduation in any background,with at least 60% aggregate Age Limit- 25 years.For Navy: B.sc(with Physics and Mathematics) or B.tech/B.E Age Limit- 22 years.For Airforce- B.E./B.Tech,graduate in any decipline with Physics or Mathematics at class 12 Age Limit- 23 years.

You can also enter in there logistic cadre ,the minimum qualification for logistic cadre is B.sc(pcm),BCA,LLB,etc.You have to crack an entrance for it conducted by army,navy and airforce it self.Notifications are released in employment news keep it reading.

as you have a diploma degree so you are equivalent to 12 th class.

so you can appear for NDA exam.there will be three steps for selection..

written test.

SSB interview.

medical test. after passing these all tests you will join Indian army.

There is no standard set for percentage of marks to appear in the CDS exam. You just need to hold a bachelor degree from a recognised university to be eligible for the exam. To make sure, you may visit the official website of UPSC.

since you have completed your graduation in diploma you are eligible for the exam.you can give CDS exam to join all the three defence service in India.this exam is held twice in a year and based on your performance in the exam you will be called for SSB.this exam is conducted by UPSC goverment and each of the three defence service have their own age limit criteria.

You can join the Indian Army by applying for the CDS exam as you have mentioned that you have completed your diploma so you are eligible for the exam..

CDS exam stands for the Combined Defense services..and it is conducted by UPSC..for the graduate students..so apply for it if you are interested in Indian Army...

in order to join indian army after doing diploma in electrical and electronics engineering, you will have to give cds exam. after qualifying the exam you will be called for personal interview and physical tests. the dates of the exam will come in employment news. so keep checking it regularly.

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your btech.

2.through UPSC exam. which exam you can appear after doing your btech.
