KAS Examination Selection Procedure:-

You need to go through the following stages to get selected:-

• Preliminary Examination (Stage-I)
• Main Examination (Stage-II)
• Personality Test (Stage-III)

Exam Pattern:-

Preliminary Exam Pattern:

PAPER –I :

• General Studies relatedto National and International Importance
• Humanities

PAPER –II:

• General Studies related to State Importance
• General Science & Tech, Environment & Ecology
• General Mental Ability

Mains Exam Pattern:

• Kannada-150 marks (qualifying marks)
• English-150 marks (qualifying marks)
• Paper III & IV-General Studies
• Paper V,VI, VII, & VIII-Two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subject. Each subject will have two papers
