Karnataka State Open University offers Bachelor of Technology program in the following disciplines and since the courses are offered through distance/correspondence mode, none of these programs are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) because as per the councils guideline, any technical program offered through distance/correspondence mode shall not be approved by the council.

KSOU(Karnataka State Open University) is approved by the UGC(University Grants Commission) and DEC(Distance Education Council) but it is not approved by the AICTE.

Don't worry any course from this university is valid for all the government jobs.

Karnataka State Open University is not approved by the AICTE.

But it is approved by UGC and DEC.
