Is Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysore affiliated by government of India? What is the status of degrees gained from this university?


I complete B.Tech in Mechanical from Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysore in the year 2015, but this degree is being not accepted by any company for job. Why? Is this university blacklisted? Isn't it recognized by any government approving body?

Yes, the distance Bachelor of Technology degree obtained from Karnataka State Open university is not approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

The degree is not accepted by any MNC for jobs. Distance B.Tech and M.Tech degrees are not approved by AICTE.
