I'm a B-Tech engg (CSE). Presently doing a job in a Software company and persuing M-tech (CSE).

My question is giving which kind of exam I can become a technical officer in Military?

defence conducts SSB exams; short service commission exams.. will be notified in all leading newspapers

For getting into the technical officer post in military you have to pass the selection test conducted by the Indian military.

It is a two stage selection procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test.
Candidates selected in the 2nd stage are called for an interview and the final selection is done after that.

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your btech.

2.through UPSC exam. this exam you can appear after your graduation course.

ssb exams ,short service commision exams are there and the rest you can find on www.upsc.gov.in

Hello, My name is Ravi Teja Mallapragada. I am 23 years old. I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science(JNTU Hyderabad), and finished my MSc Computer Science Degree(Staffordshire University in UK) . I work as an IT Security Engineer in a private company. I wanted to join Indian Army with passion from a long time,but not Permanently I want to stay in Army through short service commission for 2 years and come back to IT Industry. Is that possible?
