Hi dear,

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) was established on 1st June 1996, with the aim of creating bright engineers.

It is accorded by Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi and is declared itself as a full fledged University in the academic year 1996 vide Government notification no ED 1 UOV 95 dated 12th February 1996 (KSOU Act – 1992).

B.Tech in Civil Engineering

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering

B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

B.Tech in Textile Engineering

It is not granted by UGC, and if you want to civil engineering either you can write AIEEE exam and go for NITs otherwise write separate entrance for universities like:-

SRM University

VIT University

Anna University

Bits Pilani


Or else get into some colleges, recognised by AICTE or UGC, it will be good for you!!
