NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and this examination is conducted by UGC Twice in a year to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

The Notification of NET Examination was already Published and Availiable in the UGC Website. If you are Interested then please apply for NET Examination soon before the last date, The last date of apply for NET Examination is 25/Oct/2011 and the examination is going to be held on 24/Dec/2011.

To apply for This examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university with minimum 55% marks, If you have not scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation, then you are not eligible to apply for NET Examination.

Final year Post graduate candidates are also apply for NET.

The examination fees of NET was Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank, the Challan form was already availiable in the UGC Website, so please visit the UPSC website and then download the challan form and pay the fees soon in SBI Bank and then you are allow to fill the Online NET Application form.

You are allow to choose the Subjects in NET as per your Post graduation, the syllabus and Previous year question paper was already available in the UGC website, so please visit the UGC Website for Complete Information -

DETAILS FOR NET EXAM

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

EXAM DATE:-

The NET exam date is18-12-2011 But still UGC have not published application brochure .

The application details will be published in 26th September,2011.So you have to prepare well for NET exam.

There are one declaration is announced UGC . No negative Marking in Paper-I and Paper -II exam.

Online form will available after 20 th September.

Date of Close of Online Submission: 25 Th October 2011

UCG NET exam is conducted for determining the for award the junior research fellowship and eligibility for lectureship.NET is the minimum eligibility required to continue profession as professors in the institution.

For this year the exam is held on 24th of December.
The last date for submitting is 25th of October.You can apply online in the website www.ugcnetonline.in
The JRF qualified person are eligible to to their research programme and for doing lectureship in the universities.
The exam includes three papers conducted on the same day in three sessions.

PAPER 1
to analyse the teaching and research skill of aspirant.
The paper consist of sixty objective question carrying 2 marks each of which you need to write 50 questions
PAPER 2
based on the subject selected by the candidate.

PAPER3
It is a descriptive paper based on the subject selected by candidate
The paper has 50 compulsory objective question
