i want to know the last date of submitting the online ugc net exam form that is going to held in june 2012.

UGC has not notified the date of upcoming NET which is expected to be conducted
in the month of June, as per previous years NET schedule.

Earlier the notification for NET used to be published in the month of March for
june month examination but this year it didn't happened so
And the examination is to be conducted by the June last week so UGC will publish
the notification anyhow in this month (April).

So, keep checking the UGC website so that you can get any notice/update in this regard.

You can use the above website not only for notices regarding NET but you can
also download syllabus and previous years question papers of the exam.

NET is conducted by UGC to determine the eligibility for lectureship.

The minimum educational qualification required for the test is a masters degree with a minimum of 55% for candidates belonging to general category and 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST.

The examination is conducted in Humanities, Social Science, Environmental Science, Forensic Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science.

Examination in subjects such as Life Science, Physical Science, Chemical Science, Methematical Science and Earth Atmospheric Ocean & Planetary Science are jointly conducted by UGC and The Council of Scientific and Industrial research (CSIR).

UGC NET - UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC twice every year one in June and other in December for selection of Lectureship and award of JRF(Junior Research Fellowship).

The candidate having post Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University with at least 55% marks above the age of 19 years is eligible to apply for NET. There is no upper age bar for those applying for Lectureship but those applying JRF should be within the age of 28 years.

The notification for June 2012 exam has already been announced, the submission of application has been started 29.03.2012 till 25.04.2012. The NET can be applied through on line.

The last date of submission of hard copy of on line application form along with requisite fees for NET exam with other documents is 02.05.2012.

The NET June 2012 exam will be held on 26.06.2012.

NET exam stands for National Eligibility Test. The exam conducted by the UGC once in a year.

Eligibility criteria:

the candidate should be citizen of india.

The candidate must complete the post graduation with 55% of marks from a recognized university.

There is no upper age limit for eligible this exam.

But the junior research fellowship the age limit is there. The age limit is 18 to 28 years.
