EAMCET stands for Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is a State level entrance examination which is conducted for offering admission to engineering, agricultural and medical undergraduate courses in the colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.

Candidates who have completed Intermediate course in Medical Science stream from a Government recognied board and those who have attained minimum age of 16 years as on 31st December of the year of admission are eligible to appear in EAMCET Medical examination.
